SECURE RECRUITMENT FILE // DX-01
Deadstar Exortium is being built by capsuleers who want more from New Eden than another disposable corporation, another checklist of obligations, or another place to park an alt.
We are building a corporation with a home, a culture, a purpose, and a reason to keep logging in. That means people who want to contribute, people who want to learn, people who want to lead, and people who simply want a group of reliable pilots to fly with.
You do not need to arrive with an expensive hangar, perfect skills, or years of experience. You need curiosity, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work with other people.

01 // WHY DEADSTAR
There is no shortage of corporations in New Eden. There are mining corporations. PvP corporations. Industrial corporations. Mission-running corporations. Wormhole corporations. Social corporations. Alliances built around a doctrine and corporations built around a tax rate.
Deadstar exists because we wanted something that brings those pieces together without turning the corporation into a faceless machine.
We want people to know the names of the pilots beside them. We want new members to have somewhere to ask questions without being treated like burdens. We want experienced players to have reasons to teach rather than simply complain that nobody knows anything. We want fleets where people understand why they are being asked to do something, not simply that they are being ordered to do it.
❝We are not inheriting a home. We are building one.❞
That philosophy informs everything we do.
02 // WHAT WE OFFER
Joining Deadstar means gaining access to a community that is intended to function as a corporation, not merely a list of names sharing a Discord server.
Structured combat activities ranging from small-group PvE and defense work to organized fleet operations. New pilots can learn alongside experienced members without being expected to know everything on day one.
Ore, ice, gas, and resource gathering are part of the industrial foundation of Deadstar. Mining is treated as a shared activity rather than a solitary background task.
Probe, scout, map, investigate, and learn how to operate in environments where local intelligence cannot be taken for granted.
Manufacturing, logistics, resource processing, fittings, hauling, and the behind-the-scenes work that keeps pilots in space.
A corporation needs people willing to help defend the space and assets the corporation calls home. Defense operations give members a chance to learn coordination, response procedures, and fleet discipline.
Structured activities that reward coordination, teamwork, and active participation while giving newer players useful ways to contribute.
03 // FIND YOUR PLACE
Not every pilot wants to be the person at the front of the fleet. Not every pilot should be.
Corporations function because different people bring different strengths. A scout who finds the threat before anyone else sees it can be more important than the pilot who lands the final shot. A logistics pilot keeping a fleet alive can be more important than the damage dealer on the killmail. The industrial pilot producing replacements can be more important than the person who fires them.
At Deadstar, contribution is broader than combat statistics.
For pilots who enjoy direct action, fleet coordination, PvE, defense, and combat-oriented operations. Experience helps, but discipline and communication matter more than having the most expensive ship in the hangar.
For pilots who like finding things first. Scouting, scanning, route planning, wormhole mapping, intelligence gathering, and situational awareness are all valuable.
For pilots who enjoy the steady side of New Eden. Resource operations can become social events, training exercises, or the foundation of larger industrial goals.
For people who enjoy making things work behind the scenes. Production, hauling, fitting, stock management, and logistics keep a corporation alive even when the guns are quiet.
Corporations also need people who enjoy administration, event organization, doctrine development, recruitment, training, documentation, and community building.
Leadership is earned through reliability and trust, not simply claimed by seniority. Members who consistently contribute, communicate well, and help others may find opportunities to take on greater responsibility.
04 // BUILD WITH US
One of the advantages of joining Deadstar now is that there is still room to shape what the corporation becomes.
We are not presenting a finished machine and asking you to fit inside it. We are building the machine with the people who are willing to help build it.
That means your voice matters.
New ideas for operations matter. Better procedures matter. New doctrines matter. Suggestions for training matter. Community events matter. The people who ask, “Could we do this differently?” are often the people who eventually help define how we do things.
Deadstar is intended to become stronger because its members participate in its development.
05 // BEYOND KNOWN SPACE
New Eden rewards pilots who are willing to look beyond the obvious route.
Wormhole space offers a completely different operating environment: unfamiliar systems, changing connections, limited intelligence, unpredictable traffic, valuable resources, dangerous sites, and the constant requirement to pay attention.
You do not need to be a veteran explorer to participate. Learning how to scan properly, identify signatures, understand connections, recognize threats, and return home safely is part of the experience.
Experienced pilots can push deeper and teach newer members. New pilots can learn without being expected to know every mechanic immediately.
❝Curiosity gets you through the first wormhole. Discipline gets you home.❞
06 // WHAT WE EXPECT
We are not looking for perfection. We are looking for people who make the corporation better by being part of it.
Tell people what is happening. Ask when you do not understand something. If you are going offline, unavailable, or unable to participate in something you committed to, communicate it.
Treat other members like human beings. We will not build a strong corporation by turning every disagreement into a personal conflict. Treat everyone the way that you want to be treated.
You do not need to be online every day. Real life comes first. But when you say you are going to do something for the corporation, make a reasonable effort to follow through.
Nobody starts New Eden knowing everything. Ask questions. Make mistakes. Learn from them. Then help the next pilot who makes the same mistake.
Expensive ships, killboards, character age, and skill-point totals do not make someone inherently more valuable than another member. We care about the person behind the capsule.
07 // WHAT WE DO NOT REQUIRE
You do not need to have perfect skills.
You do not need an enormous wallet.
You do not need a collection of doctrine ships before joining.
You do not need years of EVE experience.
You do not need to know every abbreviation, module, ship, system, or mechanic.
You do need to be willing to communicate, cooperate, and learn.
If you are new to EVE, we would rather help you learn correctly than watch you struggle alone.
08 // LIFE INSIDE DEADSTAR
A corporation can have the best doctrine in New Eden and still be miserable to play with.
We are trying to avoid that.
Deadstar is intended to be a place where members can log in to accomplish something, but can also stay online because the people are worth talking to.
Some nights may involve fleets. Some nights may involve mining. Some nights may involve mapping wormholes. Some nights may involve building ships, running sites, testing fits, or simply talking in Discord.
Not every evening has to become an operation.
The corporation should support the game, not turn the game into another obligation.
We celebrate individual accomplishments, but the corporation exists to make the experience better for everyone involved.
Knowledge becomes more valuable when it is shared. Experienced players are encouraged to teach rather than use knowledge as a status symbol.
We want active members, not people who resent logging in because they feel obligated to maintain an arbitrary activity score.
09 // YOUR FIRST DAYS
Introduce yourself, get settled into the community, and make sure your basic communication and access requirements are working.
Find the activities that interest you. Meet other members. Ask questions. Learn where your strengths can fit into the corporation.
Join activities appropriate to your experience. Learn procedures in practice rather than memorizing an instruction manual.
Combatant, miner, industrialist, scout, explorer, logistics pilot, organizer, diplomat, recruiter, trainer, or something we have not thought of yet.
10 // THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS
Join the Deadstar Discord and introduce yourself. Tell us who you are, what you enjoy doing in EVE, and what you are looking for in a corporation.
Recruitment is a conversation, not an interrogation. We want to know whether Deadstar is a good fit for you, and we want you to have an opportunity to decide whether we are a good fit for you.
Once accepted, you will be introduced to the corporation’s communication channels, basic procedures, and the people you’ll be flying with.
Do something. Join a fleet. Go mining. Ask to learn scanning. Help move materials. Participate in industry. Ask questions.
You do not become part of a corporation by accepting an invitation. You become part of it by participating in it.
11 // WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
New player? You’re welcome.
Returning after years away? You’re welcome.
Veteran with deep knowledge and strong opinions? You’re welcome too. Just be prepared to explain why your idea is better.
12 // CORPORATE PHILOSOPHY
Make the hard jobs easier for the people beside you.
We believe corporations become strong when members stop asking, “What am I getting from this?” and start asking, “What can I do to make this better for everyone?”
That does not mean sacrificing your own goals. It means recognizing that cooperation can make individual goals easier to reach.
The miner benefits from protection. The combat pilot benefits from industrial support. Industry benefits from resource gathering. Explorers benefit from pilots who can act on intelligence. New players benefit from experienced people willing to teach. Experienced players benefit from having people worth teaching.
That is the corporation we are trying to build.
13 // FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
No. Real life comes first. We care more about communication and genuine participation than a meaningless daily login requirement.
No. Skill points are useful, but attitude, curiosity, and teamwork are just as important.
No. Your hangar can grow with you. We would rather help you build toward useful ships than require you to arrive with an expensive collection.
No. Combat is one part of the corporation. Mining, exploration, logistics, industry, scouting, support, organization, and community building all matter.
Of course. Joining a corporation does not mean giving up independent play. We want to make group activity more enjoyable, not eliminate everything you like doing alone.
That’s fine. Try things. Fly different ships. Join different activities. Talk to different people. You’ll figure it out.
14 // THE CONTRACT
Be honest.
Communicate.
Respect the people around you.
Treat others the way you want to be treated.
Learn.
Teach when you can.
Ask questions instead of pretending you understand something you don’t.
Help make the corporation more capable than it was before you joined.
That’s all.
15 // ACCESS REQUEST
Deadstar Exortium is recruiting pilots who want more than a corporation ticker beside their name.
We are looking for the people who want to help build the fleets, the industry, the procedures, the culture, the stories, and the future.
Whether you are here to mine, fight, explore, build, scout, haul, organize, teach, learn, or simply find a group of people worth flying with, there is room to contribute.
Bring the character you have. Bring the ships you can fly. Bring the knowledge you already have. Bring the questions you haven’t answered yet.
We’ll build the rest together.
